to be a nurse here in UAE, requires u: to be perfect, to work and work and work, to answer non-sense questions, to welcome complains about almost everything, to smile inspite of verbal abuse, not to prioritize but to treat all patient as emergency, to deal with each and everyone as VIP. you are not allowed to commit even minor error...TO BE A NURSE HERE IS NOT TO BE HUMAN.
Dont be so pessimistic.Life needs getting used to.Keep your self respect at all times and forget what happens around you,but dont be part of it.Being in something, at the same time to stay away from it, is an art you have to learn. As time goes on,it gets easier.Always remember that you are dealing eith people who think theirs is the only world,and there is nothing outside that.Like frogs in the well. When you are tired at duty, think about what better you could be doing with your time off the next day,and it will make you feel better.
